Tami Trio at The Maitri Center

Members of the local Tango community enjoyed an evening of dancing to live music with tango musicians from Buenos Aires.

Flute virtuoso Eduardo Tami, guitarist Pablo Fauaz and pianist Matias comprised the Eduardo Tami Trio at the Maitri Center Milonga on Saturday night. Their repertoire of musical interpretations includes tango, milonga, valse and candombe, along with their own interpretations of legendary Latin American composers. Born in Buenos Aires, Tami is a highly-accomplished flautist who has been composing, performing and recording for more than 30 years. His musical background is vast and diverse, and he has created an impressive legacy over the course of his career.
